SCC was originally set up as a Sales Office in 1974 to serve the ever-growing SEA market. In 1981, SCC grown to boast not only extensive sales and distribution network, but also a full-fledged manufacturer in electrolytic capacitors, thereby was strengthening its management capability. 

As majority of our valued customers have shifted their manufacturing bases to regions offering much lower cost, our Head Office (Nippon Chemi-Con Corporation) in Japan reviewed its Asian operations and decided to completely phase out its manufacturing facility in Singapore by early 2005. The paradigm shift was inevitable as being a parts supplier; we need to be nearer to our customers for effective and efficient support. 

Nevertheless, our dynamic growth in the past three decades has firmly established the Company's presence in the region and today, our core business is on Sales and Logistics to boast an extensive sales and distribution network in the ASEAN region.
