Glazspector is a Nickel Sulphide (NiS) inspection instrument. It uses a patented (P-No123132) light and optics technology to detect inclusion in toughen glass.
Glass panels are widely used in our daily life and industries, such as buildings glass, shower screens, table tops etc. All these glass panels are tempered for strength and safety. Unfortunately, during the process of manufacturing, Nickel Sulphide (NiS) developed. Since the thermal dilatation coefficients of glass and NiS are different, these flaws will eventually lead to the shattering of the glass after an incubation period. As a result, this will lead to potential accidents and law suits. Therefore, there is a stringent demand to inspect such defects. The key technique is our patented technology, Glazspector.
